oneLIFE.wantLIFE camp was totally awesome + unique! (except for the carpark sleep thing) (: i really enjoyed myself, and experienced God at the same time.
// yep, and so my group was green, and called BARRYPRO.WHOOSH. consisted of, Sandar, Sandra, Sharon, HuanKai, Joe, Kevin, Willis, Winson, Josh, Barry.
// First day, we played some ice-breake games which requires balloon popping, and my group was totally lost at that game. and our balloons burst by itself. then there was exams in the night, followed by job fair. The exam was seriously nice. got to know some rather lame + random questions. :D and job fair, I was a DETECTIVE! :D super cool. (:
// and in the night, we were totally playing and not sleeping. Brenda, Abby, Shermaine, Lilian, and I, and maybe some other ppl were playing 'taupok' in a sense. then we were camwhoring. hahaha. :D and we ended up sleeping at ard 1am, when the lights were out at 11pm.
// Second day, we had the NATIONALS! outdoors and indoors. And as usual, they were super fun too. (: i played women soccer, women captains ball, women touch rugby, volleyball. And for volleyball, i only touched the ball once. but we managed to save it! :D And at least that gave me a sense of achievement.
// Then the indoor one, was all abt board games and stuffs. I played charades, bingo, boggle. Charades was fun! Sandar was screaming like mad, and the whole group of us started screaming too, until Linette had to tell other groups to raise their hand before guessing, and not to follow Sandar. Hahaha. And for bingo, I was completely too slow or something, so i lost like mad for that one.
// Then in the night, had EARTHQUAKE. so had to sleep in the carpark. and we were supposed to run to our doms and grab 10 things that we thought was necessary for that night. Then, there was a game, which ppl had to be blindfolded to save the other ppl form the same group, who were blindfolded as well. That was a super fun game, (: though i got slap a few times.
Yeah, then the sleeping in the carpark was super hot and humid. I managed to sleep a little, though i wasnt sure if i was sleeping a not.
// Third day! had community outreached. partnered with winson, and we did 11 surveys! Super cool. :D after that, went back to church for lunch talk. And there was no lunch for us. but it was alright, considering the heavy breakfast we ate. then it was variety show time. My group did something quite hilarous on losing ur pet. It was supposed to be quite funny, but it didnt turn out as funny I guess. And Lester was super good at making those MRT sounds, and changing his voice. (:
// Then we had to cook our dinner for ourselves to eat! And apparently, the guys are the ones doing the work, so me and sharon did all the rubbish work. but its alright! ;D and fortunately, our group has HuanKai. He actually knew how to add flavouring to noodle and rice. And they were nice! (: So our group got first for the cooking part! :D
// And after that, we went back to our doms to sleep. finally! (: and i slept through the whole night.
// Fourth day, woke up quite early to pack bag cause there's service. And service worship was super good! everyone was worshipping freely. (:
// then we went out to various shopping malls for games in the afternoon. and my group went to Hougang mall. then played some human board game. Ben was very funny and lenient too! :D but he made us sing 'we wish you a merry christmas' on the road super loudly. -embarrassing.
But still, i totally enjoyed that game, it was super unique, and my first time playing such a game. (:
// And then theres BBQ in the night, which i ate a lot. The food was nice! :D and we took lots and lots of pictures. everyone was running for the camera and jumping into people's photos. super funny! (:
And God was definitely admist all these fun + laughter. I really thank Him for being in control of everything and for showing me how real He is. (: The themetalks + worship were really great, and God spoke almost everytime. I was really touched by Him through this camp and i really praise Him for that! :D
